We have a great event this Sunday for all you Recessionistas! Jae Basilio Sample Sale! A follow up to Jae's Heartbreak Sale, this Make ME Over Sale continues on with the question: "What do you do after a bad breakup?" The answer inevitably being Make Over! This time the Calbi Taco Truck will be there! The ultimate in Korexican cuisine! (Korean BBQ in taco form--vegetarian options available!) The most amazing and funky boutique is Cordelia. The clothes are very Bohemian meets Victorian with a little rock chic as well. I go there when I am looking for a very unique piece. It's kinda hidden on 3rd and La Brea across from the Ralphs.

I was driving down Santa Monica Blvd and saw a poster from the corner of my eye. The most adorable pair of gray booties caught my eye! Now I've got way too chunky of ankles and/or calves to be wearing the extremely trendy ankle booties! But for a split second I thought. "I can wear them with jeans!"
